Max and his jungle in his first day walk

Once upon a time, there was a little monkey named Max who loved to climb trees and play in the jungle. One day, Max woke up and decided to explore the jungle to see how many different animals he could find.

As Max journeyed through the jungle, he saw one bird flying high in the sky. He waved to the bird and said, “Hello! I am Max the monkey. What is your name?”

The bird replied, “My name is Uno, and I am the first bird in the jungle. Nice to meet you, Max!”

Max was excited to have met the first animal in the jungle, and he continued on his adventure. Soon, he saw two turtles sunbathing on a log in the river. Max waved to the turtles and said, “Hello! I am Max the monkey. What are your names?”

The turtles replied, “Our names are Dos and Tres, and we are the second and third animals in the jungle. Nice to meet you, Max!”

Max was even more excited now that he had met three animals in the jungle. He continued on and saw three monkeys swinging from tree to tree. Max joined in the fun and swung with the monkeys. After a while, Max asked the monkeys, “What are your names?”

The monkeys replied, “Our names are Cuatro, Cinco, and Seis. Nice to meet you, Max!”

Max had so much fun with the monkeys, but he still wanted to see more animals. As he was climbing to a big, he saw four butterflies were flying with him to the top of the tree.

When he was about the top of the tree, he saw, there were not four but five butterflies.

Again another butterfly joined to make it six.

As he to the top of tree, he saw seven parrots sitting on a branch. Max said hello to the parrots, and they replied, “Our names are Siete, Ocho, Nueve, Diez, Once, Doce, and Trece. Nice to meet you, Max!”

Max was amazed at how many animals he had met, but he wanted to find more. He came down and continue his walk. He was amazed to see eight black rabbits, which he has never seen before.

Max felt tired so needed to finish his walk for the day and returned back to home. On his way back to home, he saw nine cats were chasing after ten mice.

Max was so happy to have met all ten animals in the jungle, and he realized that he had learned to count all the way up to ten. Max thanked all the animals for introducing themselves, and he promised to come back and visit them soon.

And so, Max the monkey went back home, feeling very proud of himself for learning his numbers all the way up to ten!
